Hi Mitch,

I just noticed your 30-day raw food experiment and what drew my attention was the detox effect. I was wondering if it is true indeed that a few days after one starts a raw food diet the body attempts to get rid of the accumulated toxins causing effects like the ones you experienced. Judging from your experiment and what I have seen in others, it appears that the detox side effects do exist.

You should get a juicer. I myself finally decided that getting water with low flouride was too expensive and you still get flouride in the water even if they don't add it in purposely. So now I try to juice half a gallon a day and water the other half. 3 Oranges in this Jack Lelane power juicer tastes so good. Around here they would charge you $6 for that. Or I could pay $2.80 for 7 oranges bwhahah! Keep on eatin the four food groups: Beans, Grains, Fruits, and Vegetables.
